Este jueves 10 se dieron a conocer las películas y los actores nominados a los Premios Globos de Oro 2016, que se entregarán el próximo 10 de enero en California en reconocimiento a lo mejor de la temporada en cine y televisión.
En esta ocasión, la cinta con más nominaciones es Carol, película de Todd Haynes basada en la novela El precio de la sal de Patricia Highsmith, que relata la relación lésbica de una joven aspirante a fotógrafo (Rooney Mara) y una mujer mayor (Cate Blanchett) que está en pleno proceso de divorcio. La producción postula a cinco galardones, entre ellos Mejor Película, Mejor Actriz (Blanchett) y Mejor Director.
En tanto, en televisión destacan Mr. Robot, Game of Thrones, Empire y Narcos, que disputan el premio a Mejor Serie de Drama, mientras que Orange is the New Black, Transparent y Veep destacan en la categoría Mejor Serie de Comedia.
En esta 73ª edición de los Globos de Oro, la plataforma Netflix lidera en el ítem televisión con ocho nominaciones.
Cabe destacar que en la categoría Mejor Película Extranjera se encuentra nominada la cinta chilena El Club de Pablo Larraín, estrenada este año y que presenta a cuatro sacerdotes retirados que viven en una casa aislada donde están fugitivos tras cometer pecados.
