La mañana de este martes 23 de enero, la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas estadounidense reveló la lista de nominados a los Premios Oscar 2018 cuya ceremonia se realizará el 4 de marzo.
La fiesta más importante del cine presentó a las películas, los actores y las actrices, y los directores que postulan a un galardón en la próxima edición que nuevamente tendrá a Jimmy Kimmel como anfitrión.
Luego de los Globos de Oro, los Critics’ Choice y los SAG Awards, ahora fue el turno de la instancia más importante del cine que cumple 90 años de historia.
The Shape of Water, de Guillermo del Toro, lidera la lista con 13 nominaciones, entre ellas Mejor Película, Mejor Director, Mejor Actriz (Sally Hawkins) y Mejor Guión Original. Más atrás le siguen Dunkirk (ocho), Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (siete), Darkest Hour y Phantom Thread (seis), Lady Bird (cinco), Mudbound, Call Me by Your Name y Get Out (cuatro) y I, Tonya (tres).
En tanto, en la categoría Mejor Película Extranjera, Una Mujer Fantástica de Sebastián Lelio competirá por un galardón en el fiesta de los Oscar 2018. Es la segunda cinta nacional en ser nominada en esta categoría luego de No de Pablo Larraín en 2012.
